Rule of thumb for ordering
How many guests x number of full ladles* = amount
i.e. 10 guests x 2 ladles (approx 500ml) = 5L
* Ladle amount is dependent on the soup being served.
2 ladles - Small amount as an appetizer – consumé, single vegetable soups etc
3-4 ladles - Larger amounts heartier soup served as dinner course – chili, bean & barley etc. |
